Israel’s genocide in Gaza

In Peace City Copenhagen, we condemn Israel’s genocide in Gaza, Netanyahu’s announcement to conquer and occupy Gaza, as well as Israel’s illegal settlements and persecutions.

We call on the Danish government and world leaders to demand an immediate ceasefire, ensure free passage for emergency aid to Gaza, and ensure that international laws are respected.

All efforts should be used to ensure peace and security.

Addition: we are well aware that “genocide” in the legal sense may be defined differently than the common perception of genocide: murder and starvation of a people and attempts to drive them out of a country. This is what Israel is doing to the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
